Who we are

This website is run by Flaneur Global, which trades as Flâneur ("we", "us"). For anything in this notice, write to flaneur.first@gmail.com.

What we collect

Only what you choose to type into the enquiry form:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number or preferred way to reach you
• The service you are interested in, your destination or event, approximate travel dates and number of travellers
• A budget range, if you choose to give one
• Anything you write in the request box
• If you join our mailing list: your email address

All of these fields are required on the enquiry form.

The form does not need passport, identity or payment card details, so please do not send them.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, plan and quote your trip, and keep a record of that conversation. We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not sell them.

Our mailing list

When you first visit, we invite you to join a mailing list. If you do, we use your email address only to send you news, seasonal ideas and offers from Flâneur, a few times a year at most. You tick a box to agree, we never sell your address, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to us.

Our basis for using it

Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before.

Who else sees it

• The form service that carries your enquiry to our inbox
• Our email provider, where the enquiry arrives and our replies are kept
• Our web host, which serves this website
• Travel suppliers such as hotels or airlines, only when you ask us to make a booking, and only the details needed for it

Some of these providers process data outside India.

When you just visit

This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers. One thing happens in your browser: it loads fonts from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address, as any website you load content from would. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice first.

How long we keep it

For up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we need to keep a booking record for legal or tax reasons.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent. Email us and we aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security and children

We take reasonable steps to keep your details safe, but no system is perfectly secure. This website is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this notice, the date at the top will change with it.
